Jordan School District is committed to ensuring every student reaches their full potential. This is achieved through the implementation of a comprehensive Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
“MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) is an evidence-based framework for effectively integrating multiple systems and services to simultaneously address students’ academic achievement, behavior, and social-emotional well-being.
”National Association of School Psychologists (2024)
MTSS is not a specific program, but rather an evidence-based framework designed to maximize student achievement and success by proactively identifying and addressing the unique needs of all learners.
The MTSS framework integrates high-quality instruction and intervention, universal screening, data-informed decision-making and team problem-solving, in a tiered structure that increases in intensity and personalization based on student need.
Jordan School District uses the following systems of support in order to provide “Exceptional Educational Opportunities for Every Student“.
